High-speed parcel handling, flexible laser marking, and automated pallet safety are among the highlights of Datalogic's "Detect. Inspect. Protect. Mark & Identify." presence in Shanghai.
Shanghai, China – October 12, 2026 – Datalogic, a global leader in automatic data capture and industrial automation, will display its industrial identification, machine vision, laser marking, and safety solutions at the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) 2026, taking place in Shanghai from October 12 to 16.
Exhibiting in Hall 5.1, Booth A001, under the theme “Detect. Inspect. Protect. Mark & Identify.”, the company will showcase technologies for manufacturing traceability, automated quality inspection, intralogistics, and safer industrial operations.
As manufacturers increasingly rely on automation to improve process visibility, product quality, and operational efficiency, reliable identification and data capture play an important role throughout production and logistics. At CIIF 2026, Datalogic will demonstrate how its portfolio addresses these needs, from component identification and laser marking to high-speed conveyor scanning, machine vision inspection, and safety in automated material handling.
Traceability and Identification in Manufacturing
Datalogic's Matrix™ series of industrial imagers reads Direct Part Marking (DPM) codes, enabling manufacturers to identify components and maintain traceability throughout production. Capturing identification data at different manufacturing stages allows component tracking and access to related production information.
The AREX400 AF laser marking system features software-controlled Adjustable Focus technology integrated into the scanhead. Users can adjust the focus for different marking applications, simplifying setup and job changeovers. This flexibility supports consistent marking quality across applicable part geometries.
For mobile and manual identification tasks, the PowerScan™ DPX complements fixed systems by allowing operators to capture data directly on the factory floor. It is suited to workflows where operators move between workstations or handle items individually.
High-Speed Identification for Intralogistics
The Matrix™ 830/930 series is designed for high-speed identification in conveyor systems, parcel handling, and intralogistics. Its imaging capabilities enable automated code reading in environments where throughput and reading reliability are essential.
Integrated into automated material flows, these readers support parcel processing and bring identification into conveyor-based systems.
Machine Vision for Automated Quality Inspection
Datalogic will also highlight its machine vision solutions for automated quality inspection in industries such as packaging, food and beverage, and automotive manufacturing.
The MX-G, powered by PEKAT Vision deep-learning technology, enables automated defect detection and classification. By identifying product anomalies, it supports quality checks during production.
The Smart-VS™ vision sensor handles inspection tasks such as verifying bottle cap positioning and label alignment on packaging lines. Automating these checks helps maintain inspection consistency and meet product quality requirements.
Safety in Automated Material Handling
The SLS 10m is designed for safety applications in automated pallet handling and intralogistics environments. With detection coverage of up to 10 meters, depending on product specifications and installation conditions, it can be deployed in applications involving conveyors, robotic cells, and pallet handling equipment. Suitability and configuration are determined by the requirements of each application.
